Why keep the Feasts?

This week is the Feast of Passover.

The Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread is a seven day Festival (Lev. 23).

“Should Gentile believers keep the Yahweh’s/God’s Feasts? ”  These Feasts are Yahweh’s testimonies to the house of Israel and Judah. They were not only given to Israel, but also to the nations, for they have been ‘brought near to the Covenants of promise‘ and therefore are included. Not in order to be redeemed, but because they are redeemed.

The Feasts speak only of Yahshua/Jesus. Especially Passover. It is full of references to Yahshua/Jesus. He IS the Passover Lamb ( 1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Messiah, our passover is sacrificed for us: )   He has delivered us from our Egypt of the cruel bondage of a sinful life and crucifixion2the doctrines of men. He has caused us to come through the waters of Baptism, as the Israelites were led through the waters of the Red Sea. (1Co 10:1-2 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;  And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; )
Gentile believers have entered their ‘promised land’ of Eternal Life, and victory over their enemies.

The Feast of Passover is a glorious picture of the deliverance Yahshua/Jesus wrought for us on the cross of Calvary. The Passover kept in Egypt was indeed a ‘type’, yes a shadow, of the reality of the death and resurrection of Yahshua/Jesus. Of course the Gentile believers are allowed to keep it. Not required to, but allowed to, remembering their wonderful Saviour Yahshua/Jesus Who procured Eternal Life for them.

What a glorious reason to sing and dance and rejoice together before Him! – Let us celebrate Yahshua/Jesus OUR PASSOVER LAMB!  A wonderful occasion to fellowship with Him and each other in this glorious Feast of Freedom!

This link says it all in a beautiful song… Enjoy!   https://youtu.be/_HCBieuV-QU
