Disclaimer: The dangers of Replacement Theology

Recently we conducted an exhaustive study on the restoration of the whole House of Israel.   During this time we published a c.d. with songs about that restoration, and about the love of the Father for Israel.

Not realizing the implications,  we called the c.d. after the title of one of the songs “The Two Sticks”.   However, since the release of the c.d. there has developed a teaching among the Hebraic Roots Movement encouraging Gentile believers to believe that they are in fact the House of Israel returning.   We in no way adhere to this doctrine and wish it to be known.

People teaching this belief are, knowingly or not,  discrediting natural Israel and could be in danger of teaching Replacement Theology.

We wish to make it known that we believe in the restoring of natural Israel and that in Hosea 3:5 “Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days” and many, many other scriptures Yahweh is talking about the natural children of Abraham, the rest of the tribes who were scattered.

Yahweh has in no wise forgotten or forsaken them and has planned for their restoration. He was, is and always will be faithful to His Covenant with them, even though for a time they have been estranged.

We believe that should there be any of the ‘Lost Tribes’ in Christianity today, those individuals being in the Body of Messiah are made one with both Gentiles and Jews who are believing in Yahshua the Messiah and Saviour of the world. The One Who gave Himself for all humanity. Being one with others is simply that i.e. Gal 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus (Heb. Yahshua).”
